#2. We had known Paul Berman, real estate broker for SanJuanDelSurRealEstate.com casually
for a few years, and contacted him when the time came to sell our first property in San Juan del Sur.
We decided to give him the opportunity to list our home, along with several other real estate brokers in town,
and at the same time, we wanted to view other properties that were for sale so that when the time came…
we would have an idea of what was hopefully still available for us. Not one of the other brokers was willing
to take us around, stating we needed to sell first, and in fact it took them weeks, and in one case over a month,
to actually get busy advertising our sale. Paul had an ad up within 2 days and took us out viewing properties
several times within a two week period before we returned to Canada.
And this is very important – other brokers will only show you the listings from their office –
Paul will show you all the properties available for sale that fits your criteria; there is no multiple listing service in Nicaragua.
We were fortunate to sell our house privately within 4 months and we immediately contacted Paul to see if
the home we had seen earlier, and fallen in love with, was still for sale – it was!
If Paul had not taken us around to view properties earlier, we would not have been able do a sale, purchase
and move… all in one week. Paul was great in negotiating with the seller of our now new property and
following through with the lawyers to be sure everyone was doing their job. Now our new property is all set up,
furnished and decorated and we love it here. As we are not yet retired we do need to return to work so
we let Paul, and many other people, know we were looking for a long term tenant. Paul came through
again and brought us a prospect that loves the home as much as we do, and we are pleased to rent to her.

#3. We are a Canadian couple that came to San Juan del Sur Nicaragua for a 6 month vacation in 2014/15.
